Signing A Contract

When signing a contract there are many different things that you need to look for.  Read the entire contract thoroughly and look for any unfair or items that you know that you will have a problem dealing with.  Look for an expiration date or what are the procedures of getting out of the contract early.  This can be very important, in case that something does not work out or you have a change in location or something unexpected comes along.  If you contract has no early out and you have to leave for some reason, you may be responsible for paying the entire balance that is left on the contract.  In many cases this could cause a real hardship for many.

  • Put your notice in writing
  • Do not try to terminate your contract if you do not have a just cause as stated in contract
